MY STORY

My name is Jacqueline McMillan. I became a quadruple amputee in 2009, the result after a long bout with Sepsis. I went from a bubbly restaurant manager to a handless floral designer by parlaying my creativity in the kitchen to painting and arranging wood flowers.  I discovered wood flowers as I prepared for my wedding in 2017.  I was amazed by their natural beauty and how realistic they are.  The best part is will never die!  I moved back to Mobile, AL from San Jose, CA a few months after the wedding.  I decided to revisit them and start a business.  I am now the proud owner of Love By JM Wood Flower Designs.  I make art and decor out of “hands-free” painted wood flowers.
